Role:
The Front-End Engineer will assist Healthbricks in designing and implementing an AI-powered application that will help automate burdensome administrative workflows. They will be working with data engineers and full-stack engineers, and analysts to create UIs that solve customer demands. They will work directly with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure that their work fits into the rest of the architecture and satisfies compliance and cost requirements. They will learn about the end-users needs and help advocate for a great user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain user interfaces that look and feel great, but also satisfy user needs
• Write readable and maintainable React applications
• Work with Engineering team to determine best-practices and suitable architectures to keep our costs down and our productivity high
• Help ensure HIPAA compliance and a high degree of network and application security
• Help design a cost-effective continuous learning pipeline to integrate human-in-the-loop AI into the product
Key Qualifications:
Candidates for this role are experienced building enterprise applications in healthcare or similarly compliance-driven domains. They have worked with business stakeholders, clients, and designers to design and implement software that solves meaningful problems. They have maintained production systems and have shared responsibility for their uptime and customer adoption.
• 3+ years work experience as a software engineer for enterprise software in healthcare, or closely related experience
• Solid technical background with hands on experience in building analytics-driven, resilient, and highly usable applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with:
• Modern HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Modern front-end development practices and libraries
• Single page applications built in React, Vue, Angular
• Integrating with backend APIs in an extensible way
• Working on an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environment
