Full Stack Developer / Data Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a team member of the data intelligence team you develop and maintain multiple data services and user visible systems in a test driven manner
• You are responsible for building a unified data sink by connecting, consolidating and transferring data from multiple internal and external sources (API’s , databases, filesystems etc.)
• Building and maintaining the deployment infrastructure of these data services and structures is in your hands
• You consult with your team internal Data Analyst and Data Scientist, review their requirements and implement new models
• And advise our vertical developer teams how to use these data services and infrastructure

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies in computer science, business studies, mathematics or comparable studies
• We expect as Junior at least theoretical, in a Senior role relevant, experience in 2 or more layers of the development stack:
• Frontend: JS/TypeScript, SPA-Development using frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
• Backend: App/service-development using Django/Python, Celery, JSON
• DB: SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Infrastructure: BASH, amazon web services (AWS), docker, puppet or chef, git, jenkins or travisCI
• Interest in iterating and working into other technologies, eg.: CitusDB, exasol, kafka, hadoop, php, scala, spark
• Communication strength and very good knowledge of English - spoken and written, German B level and the motivation to learn it more
