Phone2Action is a venture-backed software company based in Rosslyn, VA. We build digital engagement tools that organizations use to engage people to participate in public policy campaigns. Reporting to our VP of Engineering, we are seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to help improve our front-end practice. This position is open to remote candidates.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help develop world-class front-ends at Phone2Action
- Optimize front-ends for speed and scalability
- Contribute to UX & UI design standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects in the UI
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new web technologies
- Take part in peer code reviews
- Take part in a fast-paced, agile development process with iterative releases
- Assist with testing and QA
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years with SPA frameworks (Vue, React, Ember, etc)
- 5+ years with HTML5/CSS3
- 5+ years understanding browser APIs and front-end best practices
- Experience with JavaScript testing libraries
- Experience with CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization and/ or JavaScript charting libraries
- Experience with responsive design principles
- Experience with JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
- Experience with web accessibility standards
- Strong understanding of cross-device compatibility
- Strong understanding of how to optimize for the mobile web
- Experience with Design Systems or Visual Style Libraries
