Evenergi is looking for a Lead Engineer to join the team in our Sydney office.
Evenergi is building a global eMobility platform that aims to accelerate the adoption of renewably powered low emissions vehicles for fleets and consumers.
This person will have excellent software chops and be able to solve complex problems with a deep desire to learn and develop their skills. They will also be keen to work with, mentor and ultimately lead a team of like minded technical talent.
Our mission is for all transport to be powered by renewable energy. Your role is to help build world changing products that will disrupt the energy and automotive industries, scale globally and help save the planet.

Job Description:
Architect and design complex webapps with multiple dependencies
Code and deliver services which support multiple products
Create seamless user interfaces, tailored to our customers needs
Support the development of complex algorithms and operationalise machine learning models
Work with the CTO to identify, package and outsource work to increase capacity, fill skills gaps and ensure we focus on what we are best at
Work with the CTO to improve the way we work and create software
Capabilities
Be an expert in many technical areas with deep knowledge in developing complex web apps on both the front and backend
Develop and deploy our core software in React, NodeJS and Python
Know git, docker, ci/cd and devops like they’re a childhood friend
Be able to empathise with the customer needs and understand why we are building what we are building
Ensure security, stability, performance and capacity are embedded in the development and deployment of all we do
Mentor and support other technical team members
Be able to work closely with others to change and improve our working processes
