React Developer

React Native developer (iOS/Android)

PICME IS A PLATFORM FOR CROWDSOURCED EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY. WE WANT TO BRING EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY INTO THE MOBILE AGE BY TRANSFORMING SPECTATORS INTO CONTENT CREATORS.

Our MVP was a success: simple, popular, deployed live to real customers. But it's time to build a better base for the app: lean, iterative, and cross platform. We're looking for a React Native developer to deliver our next app on iOS (essential), and later:Android.

You will be working with a graphic designer, and reporting directly to the CTO. You will have a high degree of autonomy to make the relevant technical and architecture decisions to create a great React codebase and a great app. We work to a cadence of weekly builds, presented directly to the founders, showing them what you've produced each week, and getting their feedback on how/when to adapt design and features.

Core skills: 

- 1+ years experience of React and/or React Native 

- 1-3 projects shipped using React (preferably: React Native) 

- Experience building MVP-style projects (finding the right balance between short delivery time, and maintainable code that can be iterated on)

Bonus: 

- Experience working with django backend
